Olympic Silver Medalist and Motivational Speaker Tim Morehouse joined us for the Arnold Fencing Classic 2010. He will be rejoining us for 2011. Tim was on the 2008 Olympic team for men’s sabre, is ranked consistently within the top 4 in the US and in the top 10 in the world.

In addition to training to prepare for the 2012 Olympics, Tim is a motivational speaker and avid promoter of our sport around the world. You may have seen Tim fencing President Obama on the lawn of the White House, at any one of many fundraisers and speaking engagements and, of course, at the largest multi-sports festival in the world — the Arnold Sports Festival.

“One of the best things we ever did was to bring Tim Morehouse,” said Director of Operations, Tim Mills. “His enthusiasm and advocacy for the sport has helped to elevate the sport around the world in our community.” Arnold Fencing Classic Chair, Julia Richey, a former 13-year Russian National Team Member and owner of Royal Arts Fencing Academy, added, “[Tim] has elevated the level of the Arnold Fencing Classic to new levels.”
