Peter Westbrook returns to the Arnold Fencing Classic

Thirteen time national sabre champion and 1984 Olympic Bronze Medalist Peter Westbrook will return to the Arnold Fencing Classic for 2011. Westbrook has been an avid supporter of the Classic since it began in 2004. In 2004, he brought his one-year-old son with him, and he has grown up with the Classic, coming with his dad every year.

See the interview Arnold Fencing Classic Chair Julia Richey did with Westbrook at the NYC World Cup last June.

We’re excited to see him again this year.

For the 2010 Arnold Fencing Classic we added posters all over the walls. There were seven or eight different ones. Over the course of the weekend they began disappearing. It’s one of those things where you’re upset that people are taking them off the walls but happy people like them.

So, who was stealing them? Spectators, bodybuilders, we stopped quite a few of them that were just passing by. For 2011 we’re putting posters online for those that would like to order one.
